9.150 COMPLAINTS of VIOLATIONS
When a violation of this Ordinance occurs, any person may file a complaint in regard thereto. All such complaints must be in writing and shall be filed with the Zoning Officer, who shall properly record such complaint and immediately investigate and report thereon.
9.610 FEES
Fees for Zoning Permits Not Requiring Board Action $40.00 (forty dollars)
9.620 PERMITS
Zoning permits for business and outdoor advertising signs $50.00 (fifty dollars)
9.630 OCCUPANCY PERMITS
Occupancy permits $25.00 (twenty-five dollars)
9.640 APPLICATIONS
Applications requiring Board Action, including appeals for variances, requests for amendments, applications for special uses, applications for rehearing on appeals and applications $400.00 (four hundred dollars)
9.650 FEES
Fees are intended to cover the cost of advertising and other costs of administering applications requiring Board Action, including, but not limited to stenographic recordings of proceedings. In the event that actual costs are less than the fee paid with the application the Borough shall refund surplus payments in excess of $25.00 (twenty-five dollars)

Section 1. The Taylor Borough Building Code is amended as follows:
The following fees shall be paid to the Building Inspector upon approval of an application for a building permit and shall apply to construction, renovations and demolition:
In-ground Pools: fee of $25.00
Above ground Pools: fee of $15.00
Sewer Permits: for hook-up $25.00 and a $300.00† refundable deposit
In 2008, the Pennsylvania Legislature passed the Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act. The law requires that all contractors who perform at least $5,000 worth of home improvements per year register with the Attorney General’s Office.
