COVID- 19 Update
The Borough of Taylor continues to operate under the State of Emergency as proclaimed by Mayor Praschak and upheld by Borough Council on Monday, June 29, 2020.
Borough Facilities are open to the public. Masks must be worn and social distancing is being enforced as per the Pennsylvania Department of Health and CDC Guidelines. Also, temperature screening devices are being used while entering the Municipal Building and Taylor Community Center.
Please continue to follow The PA Department of Health recommendations regarding COVID-19 Precautions.
Due to the continued concerns regarding COVID-19, The Taylor Community Center will be closed until further notice on Monday, February 1, 2021. Taylor Boroughs primary concern is for the health and safety of our children and the general public. Please be patient.
Northeast Inspection Consultants Taylor Borough Zoning
On June 1st, 2021, the Taylor Borough Council entered an agreement with Northeast Inspection Consultants for Third Party Zoning and Code enforcement. Please direct any zoning, property maintenance, or ordinance enforcement concerns to Northeast Inspection Consultants at 570-280-2111 ext 3 or email email@example.com.
Taylor Borough Council has scheduled its Work Sessions for 2021 to be held at the Taylor Municipal Building, 122 Union Street, Taylor, PA 18517, starting at 7:00 P.M. effective June 7, 2021 on the following dates: June 7, 2021; July 12, 2021; August 9, 2021; September 7, 2021; October 11, 2021; November 8, 2021; December 6, 2021.
The Taylor Borough Council has scheduled its regular monthly meetings for 2021 to be held at the Taylor Municipal Building, 122 Union Street, Taylor, PA 18517, starting at 7:00 P.M. effective June 9, 2021 on the following dates: June 9, 2021; July 14, 2021; August 11, 2021; September 8, 2021; October 13, 2021; November 10, 2021; December 8, 2021.
The Public is invited to attend, CDC Guidelines will be followed, and above schedule will be subject to change depending on CDC Recommendations.

Tax Office Information
The Tax Office will be open Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Masks are required for entrance to the Municipal Building and Social Distancing Rules apply.
