Welcome to the Borough of Taylor
COVID- 19 Update
**Updated June 28, 2021**
In accordance with the Pennsylvania Department of Health, masks are no longer required for entry into the Taylor Municipal Building and other Borough-owned facilities. Borough officials still ask that residents continue to follow the CDC guidelines for wearing a mask where required by law, rules, and regulations, including healthcare, local business, and workplace guidance.
**Community Center Update**
During the extended period of time that the TCC was closed, the Gym has been painted, the Air Conditioning in the Gym has been replaced and a new roof was installed. The final renovation to be completed is the installation of a new hardwood Gym Floor. Due to the ongoing material shortages from the pandemic the installation of the floor has been delayed. Work is scheduled to be complete by the end of October. These renovations will allow the Taylor Community Center to serve the residents for many years to come.
Thank You for your Years of Service
On behalf of all Taylor Borough officials, employees and residents, Taylor Borough Council, would like to congratulate Sgt. William Roche on his retirement after 43 years of dedicated service as a Police Officer with Taylor Borough. We wish Sgt. Roche the best of success and health as he enters the next chapter of his life. You proved yourself over a lifetime of service to be one of the best investigators in the area, yet still were able to remain compassionate during difficult times. We wish you all the best.
